Database companies preparing for LINQ and Entity Framework

David Sceppa wrote about meeting a number database vendors at TechEd who shared their status (or plans) for creating providers for Entity Framework and LINQ. He also says that IBM "stole the show" by demoing some of their 101 LINQ demos for querying against DB2. Microsoft has hosted two "provider fests" to help vendors write providers for .NET developers to use to access their databases through LINQ and EF. |
