If you were at TechEd Developer in Barcelona or at DevConnections in Las Vegas earlier this month, you were lucky enough to get a copy of the CoDe Focus issue that is all about Data Programability in your bag/backpack.
This issue is filled with articles written by members of the Data Programability team (this encompasses ADO.NET, XML Tools, LINQ to SQL and more) at Microsoft. These are the folks that know these technologies better than anyone. Here's a list of the articles:
An Entity Data Model for Relational Data Part I: Defining the Entity Data Model
An Entity Data Model for Relational Data Part II: Mapping an Entity Data Model to a Relational Store
Programming Against the ADO.NET Entity Framework
Rich Query for DataSet- An Introduction to LINQ to DataSet
LINQ to Relational Data: Who's Who?
Browsing Windows Live Expo with LINQ to XML
ADO.NET Data Services
Caching with SQL Server Compact and the Microsoft Sync Framework for ADO.NET
Introducing the Microsoft Sync Framework: Next Generation Synchronization Framework
What's New in SQL Server 2008?
Programming SQL Server 2008
Use SQL CLR 2.0-Advancing CLR Integration in SQL Server 2008
Visual Studio 2008: RAD Gets RADer
The Data Dude Meets Team Build
XML Tools in Visual Studio 2008
ODBC Rocks!
TESLA: Democratizing the Cloud
IF you subscribe to CoDe you should be getting a copy and I know that CoDe Mag is distributed at many user groups in the U.S. - perhaps elsewhere. Here's the main access page for this issue: http://www.code-magazine.com/focus/DB/index.aspx. |
