I'm a VB Video Interviews
|
At this year's Microsoft MVP Summit, Beth Massi and Kathleen McGrath ran around with a video camera and interviewed a bunch of Visual Basic MVPs, including folks like Deborah Kurata (did you know Deborah has recently (finally!) started blogging?), Ken Getz and Bill Vaughn. There are many others as well including myself. Beth's interview was fun and she caught me off guard with some unexpected questions. The inteviews are short and casual but give a great look at some of the types of development that are being done with VB by the millions of VB developers. The videos have been compiled and put on the VB Developer Center along with many other VB MVP interviews (text). You can easily get to these by going to the url IMAVB.NET which will redirect you to the appropriate page on the developer center. Even though I now do a lot of my coding in C# as well, I'm definitely a VB and have some history with it. I shifted to Visual Basic when it was version VB4. Heck that was sometime in the previous century! If you are a VB, too, you'll find a link on the site to submit your own story. You don't need to be an MVP to submit one either. |
