Silverlight for LINUX

At MIX, Miguel de Icaza pondered out loud about implementing silverlight on Linux. The result of this was a lot of people blogging that he had committed to doing it. That must have been enough of a push because he and a team of devs have been working on it rabidly and pulled it off in three weeks. He has written a lengthy post about how this all came about. It is about to have it's premiere at ReMix in Paris. Joshua Allen poitns out that he can "can vouch for the fact that Miguel didn't know anything about Silverlight's .NET support before we announced it at MIX07." |
